Old Bay Shrimp Salad

Shrimp salad is a party favorite, but the dish is so popular that it can often feel unexciting. Spice things up with this Maryland variation of shrimp salad! Gather two pounds of large shrimp, one-half cup of mayonnaise, one and a half teaspoons of Old Bay seasoning, two teaspoons of white wine vinegar, one-fourth teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, one-half cup finely diced celery, and one-fourth cup of finely sliced scallions. While you cook and drain the shrimp, whisk all of the other ingredients in a medium-sized bowl. Stir in the cooked shrimp, taste, and add more seasoning to your preference! Chill the shrimp salad for two to three hours before serving.

Sun-Dried Tomato Dip

Dips are an excellent option for cookouts and picnics, but they don’t always tempt the tastebuds. This sun-dried tomato dip isn’t just delicious, but it’s elegant too! Try pairing it with a glass of chilled white wine or a cold lager. To make, place one-fourth cup sun-dried tomatoes, one-half cup of mayonnaise, eight ounces of cream cheese, ten dashes of Tabasco sauce, one-half cup of sour cream, and few dashes of salt and pepper into a food processor. Blend the mixture well and then add two thinly sliced scallions. Pulse the remaining mixture twice and then empty the contents into a bowl. Cover and refrigerate the dip until you’re ready to serve! Garnish the dip with more scallions, and serve with pita bread, celery, and crackers.

Key Lime Pie Fudge

Nothing says summer more like a slice of key lime pie! This key lime pie fudge is easy to make, but your guests will think it took you all morning! Gather 1 cup of crushed graham crackers, two tablespoons of melted butter; one can of sweetened condensed milk, two cups of white chocolate chips, three tablespoons of lime juice, and the zest of one lime. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and combine the graham cracker pieces and butter in a small bowl. Pour the mixture onto a foil-lined baking dish and bake for five minutes. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients and microwave until melted. Pour the mixture on top of the graham cracker crust and refrigerate overnight! Cut into small bars and serve!
