Preheat your oven to 450 degrees, wash your hands thoroughly, then empty the crab mix onto a baking sheet. Form the crab mixture into a ball and place each individual cake onto the pan. Lastly, fill the bottom of the pan with a ¼ inch of water, or just enough to cover the bottom. Bake the cakes for 13 to 16 minutes or until they turn light golden brown. For crab cake sliders or crab balls, portion each eight-ounce carton of the mixture into five or six small balls and follow the same cooking instructions.
